EVERYTHING Pass - Again this year, our EVERYTHING Pass is good for admission to ALL performances, Naughty Tales, and workshops (adults only)

Family EventFamily Fest celebrates the imagination with a performance of Animalia by celebrated puppeteer Hobey Ford. Animalia is a puppetry ballet of incredibly realistic animal puppet “Foamies” exploring the beauty and movement of whales, dolphins, birds, butterflies, wolves and other creatures.There will be a variety of hands-on activities for parents and children to enjoy both prior to and following the performance.

Musical Picnic with Alan Thornhill.  Alan is one of Ojai’s musical treasures and we encourage people to bring a picnic and enjoy his clear voice, superb musicianship, and great lyrics. Along with influences from artists like Jackie Wilson, the Everly Brothers, Sam Cook, Charlie Byrd, Chet Atkins, to the Beatles, Alan developed his own style. An award winning guitarist, he won the 1995 Telluride Fingerstyle Guitar Championship along with many song writing awards including the American Songwriter’s Festival.  Free with tickets to Under the Oaks (below).

Naughty Tales in the Tent. Get a babysitter, leave the kids at home and invite a little wildness into your life… This year's tellers include Nancy Donoval - My Pastey Collection; David Gonzalez - Why She Moans, and Willy Claflin - Sex, Drugs, and Rock and Roll. Begins after the conclusion of Under the Oaks (approximately 9:45) at the Ojai Art Center. Includes wine, munchies, coffee, and dessert. Seating for this event is reserved - early purchase will ensure the best seats. Must be 21 or older. Not included in Festival Pass or 6-Pack.

Workshop with Angela Lloyd. Traveling the Story Road: Useful Tools and Skills for Exploring a Story's Path - This workshop is geared to all levels of experience: teller, librarian, counselor, novice, parent and teacher. Participants are asked to bring the text of a folktale, fairy tale, personal story of their choice as a point of reference for the activities. Bring writing materials and paper. We will explore the role of the Narrator, and a variety of ways to bring the story’s imagined world to life. Not included in Festival Pass or 6-Pack.
